GUU-Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations

The GUU-Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations is a publication of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Gregory University, Uturu, Abia State, Nigeria and it is established for the purpose of publishing and maintaining high-quality research in all Postgraduate programmes.
It is Nigerian-based and worldwide in scope and seeks to provide a global forum to enhance communication among academics and professionals in emerging areas of innovations, research and practice. This will be achieved through methodological strategies of understanding and solving critical developing problems and issues related to Postgraduate Studies. Conceptual and empirical submissions are encouraged to all areas of Postgraduate programmes and other cognate disciplines

The primary aim of this Journal is to disseminate the results of some of the researches, innovations and developments taking place in Postgraduate School of Gregory Universitiy, Uturu and elsewhere to national, regional and global audiences and to inform policy for management of universities. It is also expected that the journal will provide an avenue to identify areas where there is gap in knowledge and the priorities for further research on ways and means filling this gap.

EDITORIAL NOTE

GUU-Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations (GUUJIRAI), is an interdisciplinary bi-annual peer-reviewed publication of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Gregory University Uturu, Abia State, Nigeria which accommodates original and well researched empirical, theoretical, and methodological papers from academics, researchers, institutions, policy makers, and professionals on innovation and contemporary issues.

VISION

The vision of GUU-Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations (GUUJIRAI) is to be globally recognized and ranked among the top journals in terms of quality and novelty of contributions, world-wild reputation, distribution, readership, and impact on development of expertise. In addition, the Journal provides avenue for intellectual brainstorming, advancement and dissemination of scientific, empirical, theoretical, methodological, and innovative research geared towards building a new crop of researchers that would challenge the status quo and constantly explore green research areas.

MISSION

The mission of GUU-Journal of Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations (GUUJIRAI) is to publish peer-reviewed, original, and high quality articles that continuously provide an international communication forum for discussions, scholarly debates, and a platform for global best practices in research development and innovation for postgraduate education.

INFORMATION/GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS

  1. The Editorial Board reserves the right to modify or condense manuscripts where it is unavoidable to meet its standard/specifications.

  2. Papers submitted to (GUUJIRAI) must be original and high quality and must not have been published or be under consideration for publication in any other journal.

  3. Papers submitted should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 50 words with at least five keywords.

  4. Papers submitted should not exceed 800 words (including references) and should be typed using Times Roman Style of 12 font size and double line spacing. The references must be presented in accordance with the 6th edition of APA Style.

  5. All manuscripts must have the title of the paper, name of author (s), institutional affiliation, and email address.

  6. Manuscripts should be submitted to: nosirihilary@gmail.com

  7. Author (s) will be required to pay a non refundable fee of N5,000 for assessment upon submission of paper. If a paper is found worthy of publication, the author (s) should be required to pay a publication fee of N20,000 only.   8. Paper (s) submitted for publication undergo plagiarism check to ascertain the originality of the paper (s).

  9. Author (s) of published paper is or are entitled to one hard copy.
